Gesture Map

Polychoral gestures blend direct drags with modifier modes, and now layer multi-touch roles so each plane pair remains intuitive on every surface.

Plain drag → XY & YZ planes
Shift + drag → XW & YW planes
Alt + drag → XZ & ZW planes
Ctrl / ⌘ + drag → fine isoclinic blend across all planes
Touch: a second finger mirrors the Shift profile for W-axis motion while a third finger unlocks the Alt blend without holding modifiers.

Audio synthesis is baked into this build—tap Enable Audio and the oscillator network will wake instantly without microphone permissions.

Motion Input (Beta)

Architecture Map

State Lattice XY/YZ anchor the MVEP mouse axes while XW/YW/ZW extend into the full Clifford basis. Six coupled velocities define the 4D rotation tensor that all render and sound mappings read from.
Fidelity Constellation Dimension, Morph, Grid, and Fidelity form the HypercubeCore morph stack—blending between simplex, cube, and lattice regimes while keeping sampling density energy-balanced.
Audio Coupler Bass/Mid/High magnitudes gate structural glow, shell width, and glitching. Pitch locks the Clifford ratio monitor so audio rhythm and rotation cadence can phase-align.
Gesture Weave Pointer modes pick orthogonal plane pairs: default → {XY, YZ}, Shift → {XW, YW}, Alt → {XZ, ZW}, Ctrl → fine isoclinic blend. Multi-touch mirrors those chords so tablets can drive W-plane motion without keyboard modifiers. Gesture deltas live-mix with the base sliders.

MVP prototype blending the original MVEP mouse experiment with the HypercubeCore fidelity suite. Six hyper-rotation degrees-of-freedom are simultaneously controllable, mapping a full Clifford rotation space to sound-reactive 4D lattice synthesis. Explore emergent timbres by choreographing trajectories through this state space, then lean on the edge resonance matrix to hear paired planes collide into shimmering interval clouds.

This MVP channels a six-plane hyper-rotation into sound and light. Use this quick brief to align your gestures, audio expectations, and layout tweaks before diving in.

Launch & Audio Onboarding

Select Enable Audio in the toolbar or System panel to wake the synth. Browsers require a user gesture before sound begins.
The status card mirrors the AudioContext state. If it reports a suspension, press the audio toggle again to resume.
Adjust the Master Volume slider to taste. Preset recalls will respect the level you pick here.
Watch the edge meters—when they glow hot, the new interval bank is folding axis pairs into metallic harmonics.

Gestures & Rotation Mapping

Drag on the canvas to steer the primary XY, YZ, and XZ planes. Hold Shift to reach the W-axis pairs.
On touchscreens, add a second finger for the Shift chords and a third to reach the Alt blend—no keyboard modifiers required.
Tap the Gestures panel for a reminder of the modifier chords and how they split across axes.
Axis meters in the Status panel highlight which planes are currently energised so you can balance the polytope field.
The Edge Resonance Matrix pairs those planes into interval clusters—drive two axes together to hear their ring-mod shimmer climb.
The new Face Harmonic Lattice blooms when three planes move in concert, revealing chordal pads that anchor the interval swells.

Layout & Panel Management

Use Focus Mode from the toolbar when you want a full-canvas performance view. The button stays docked so you can exit instantly.
Compact layouts auto-shelve panels. Use the toolbar buttons to reopen what you need; the app remembers your choice.
The dock toggle hides the toolbar itself on extra-short screens. Tap the floating button to reveal it again.
Need a reset? Load the neutral preset from the scene selector to recover the baseline visual and audio pose.
